Unknown On YouTube

Being a start up guy on YouTube kinda makes me realise things from a fans perspective. Nobody listens to you, no matter how much you message someone or try and arrange something with someone who has a "Following" ... you never get a reply. The only person who has had the decency to message me back is Jason Bradbury via twitter. If you don't know who he is, he hosts The Gadget Show, a british tv program.
But yeah, nothing against these guys, they're obviously busy and have better stuff to do, but i WILL get to the top, and when i do, then screw those guys... i mean, if you're not going to put the effort into talking and interacting with your fans.. What's up with that? You don't deserve anything. Fans are called FANS for a reason, they look up to you and you are an inspiration to people. If you talk to them or address them personally, sure people are going to spam you with messages, but isn't that the fun of being famous or having a small following? Take advantage of it.

I can see why people do it to be honest, because the internet is a nasty place. Twitter for example, it isn't a very censored place, FULL of celebrities and idols (And annoying dickheads who Guarantee that you can work from home) ... Fed up with that.

But yeah, all i'm saying is, i wish people interacted with their fan base a little more, sure they make more videos and publish entertainment weekly, even daily... So props to them, just try get a little more... Intimate? with your fanbase.

Minecraft 1.2.4 Update

Mojang has released the Minecraft 1.2.4 update today.

The folks at Mojang are on a roll with updating Minecraft as of late.  1.2.4 marks the third update this month, but Jeb of Mojang has said this will probably be the last until 1.3 which currently has no set release date as of yet.

For those who want a taste before they update, here’s what you can expect.

Minecraft 1.2.4 New Features and Updates

• Chat history and much better chat editing
• A few new decoration blocks
• “Back” and “Quit” buttons to OutOfMemoryScreen
• Made cats more realistic (read: probably annoying).
• Added a “minimal” debug menu for testing with. Shift+F3 to hide the graphs

On the bug fix side of things, there are several here that were very much in need of fixing.  It looks like bringing the Bukkit developers onboard is already paying off.

Minecraft 1.2.4 Bug Fixes

• Made placing half blocks on existing half blocks (to make a full block) easier
• Limit framerate on menu screens, no longer uses 100% cpu and make my computer melt
• Fixed fatal crash for converted worlds to anvil, when there’s blocks at max height
• Fixed an old bug with signs clearing text while you’re editing them in SMP
• Fixed crash when logging in while there are blocks at maxheight at spawn
• Fixed TNT ghosts in multiplayer
• Fixed storage minecarts dropping enchanted items
• Fixed crashes on invalid server addresses when joining a server
• Fixed entities being uninteractable if they existed at login (Multiplayer)
• Fixed dupe exploit with paintings
• Fixed furnaces and dispensers dropping enchanted items
• Fixed the “flickering” of chat as it vanishes off the screen
• Fixed text rendering over items in the container screens
• Fixed exploit with jungle saplings (turns other saplings into jungle ones)
• Fixed launcher opening minecraft dir if the path contains a space
• Fixed an off-by-one lighting bug * Fixed block transmuting (turning one block into another via pistons)
• Fixed placing mushrooms in daylight, where they can’t survive
• Fixed redstone lamps dropping powered block items when destroyed while on
• “save-all” (server) now works even when you have toggled “save-off”
• Fixed turning half-blocks into full-blocks while you’re standing on them
• Fixed seed displaying in F3 debug when the seed is unknown (multiplayer)
• Fixed villager texture changing clientside per profession
• Fixed falling off ledge corners while holding shift
• Fixed players falling when reconnecting to servers where they were previously flying

Dedication, Excavation and Problems... Lots and Lots of Problems.

Well today started pretty sucky, had my dad ring me up saying that my Grandma has died. Bless her soul, may she rest in peace. I'm glad she is gone in a way because when i went to go see her she seemed like she was in so much pain and she couldn't do much. May she have disco-rave parties in heaven with my Great Grandma!
I'll miss her, i shall forever love her.

On another topic. YouTube is having a few uploading issues, a few youtuber friends have been having the same issues so i know it's not just me. But what IS just me, is that people have been spamming ads on my account so my Adsense has been (hopefully temporarily) disabled. But hey, i'm more worried about the daily videos! I've been uploading content everyday for the past what... 3-4 weeks? Now it's gonna have a long gap in the middle... fml...
But yeah, it's now Sunday, 01:01am... Bored as hell because i've finished everything i can do, i recorded some more things today which i shall keep a secret, editing will have to wait until tomorrow because i feel so tired it's inreal, my sleeping pattern is so messed up and after spending most of Saturday in tears, i'm going to try and get back on my feet and start bringing you decent content.
I would like you guys to please share my videos to as many people as i can, because i want to be able to entertain in the MASSES! And if you don't like things i post hey, SAY IT! At least then i know what you guys want to watch and what you do want to watch.

Let me know what you guys want and i shall deliver as much as i can.

Life and the boring "In real life" stuff..

Well then, havn't wrote a blog in a while so i'd thought i'd update you guys on my personal life.
Currently going through a bit of a rough patch, my gran has cancer and she isn't doing too well so i've been spending time with her and helping family and people through feelings, my mum isn't doing so great because of said reason. And in all, it's a depressing period that we all need to try and stay positive for, for my grandma's sake. I spent most of my childhood with my Gran, every birthday and christmas she would always make us a handmade card, she was always interested in crafting and and designing things for people she cares about. My heart is there for her, always will be. Love you Grandma Maureen xx

I have recently been a bit down, because of this damn house, the situation is, i'm in a shared house, the housemates usually like to get involved with the wrong crowds and the situation always ends in the police coming here, searching every room, including mine for drugs/stolen good/ whatever really.. and it's pissing me off, you know what it's like working until about 5am then going to bed at say, 5:30am then getting woken up at 6am with the police at your door asking questions, making me feel like i've done something wrong... Not good. Hopefully things are getting better soon, theres a lovely lass upstairs who keeps herself to herself and she is worrying like crazy aswell so i'm trying to be supportive to her aswell, she is in the same situation as me really, alone in the big wide world with limited income. The main thing is, It is annoying not to be able to control my own life.

But yeah, on the positive side, it's my birthday on Monday, nothing planned for it, probably just meet with a few friends and have a few drinking contests here and there, put those people to shame haha... nah, it'll probably be the opposite, i'll end up on my arse before long, but it should all be good :)
But yeah, right now? Rendering episode 14 of our Minecraft series, finished and uploaded a little remix of a guy that dances around in our town. And listening to Dubstep on Soundrop on Spotify (Not a plug) but hey... it's good.
Probably thinking about bed soon.
